I have no clue as to why Brousard sent these letters out to Boosters, unless we've hit a raw nerve with some of our opinions. I know they read our stuff, but I don't believe for 1 second that the problem is here. Maybe FB, Twitter, etc

Dear Booster
As a donor to CU Athletics, you are considered a “Representative of CU’s Athletics Interest,” commonly referred to as a booster. CU donors/boosters are assumed to have a higher level of involvement with CU Athletics than the general public.

Please note that boosters may not contact a prospective student-athlete or his/her parents (or legal guardians) in writing, in-person (both on and off campus), by phone, or through social media. This includes, but is not limited to, websites such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Boosters should never post to a prospects’ “wall,” reply to a “tweet,” send them any type of direct message, or take any other action that would constitute contacting that prospect
.
These contact rules are applied in the same manner both before and after a prospective student-athlete has signed a National Letter of Intent.
If you have any questions about the recruiting process and/or social media, please don’t hesitate to contact the Office of Compliance Services at comply@colorado.edu or 303-492-6155.

Thank you for your support and for doing your part to keep CU Athletics compliant!
Sincerely,

Yep. They send that out annually. They also post warnings above the urinals, haha.

Funny enough I just read this and then on my Instagram I got a notification that Austin Williams wants to follow me. No clue why lol, I barely use Instagram outside of looking at some sports stuff.
