Fess up. Did you watch the entirety of yesterday's game?

I watched the entire first half and the first drive of the OSU game before turning to LSU/UGA. I would switch back periodically to eye the score, but never really left it on for an extended time. With college football season in full gear now I don't find it as enjoyable as I did in years past and there's almost always a better game on than the CU game. I can't take it much anymore to watch the Buffs lose. I never felt like this until last year (Fresno kicked it off). I want to support the team, but I find it increasingly difficult (and note I went to school in '05-'06 with the end of Barney and BJax, ugh). I think we are headed in the right direction, but the beatdowns are wearing thin. Being doing 14 shouldn't feel like a beatdown in the Pac12, but it feels like it is for us.

We've got UO this weekend so I'll probably stop watching after the first quarter. I don't really get upset anymore. It's just dejection and apathy.
 
Yes. But I now laugh when it starts looking like another ritual ass kicking....I guess I should add, I was watching it on a delay because my son had a FB game at the same time as KO. So I was FF through commercials and by the third quarter, between the plays...so I did not really invest the whole 3 plus hours to watching it.

Nope UGA/LSU was more interesting game, but I have the game downloaded on my computer so I'll watch the end of this game later.
 
I still had it on my computer, but somewhere during the 3rd quarter I just started watching ND/OU and Georgia vs LSU.
 
I have DirecTV. But I did listen on the radio. Halfway through the third quarter I volunteered to go out with my wife and walk the dogs.
 
I have Dish and recorded it. Watched the whole damn mess less the commercials. Also was drinking so it became less painful with more booze. My kids flag game was about as exciting as the Buff game.
 
I watched through the beginning of the 4th quarter. Mainly out of some misplaced hope that something would get going offensively before the Beaver back-ups came in.

In retrospect switching to LSU-Georgia would have been a better use of time.
 
I watched the whole thing. I may not have, but I was stuck at BWW with a pre-arranged time to be picked up.
 
I have never missed any part of a game that has been televised dating back to 1993, bitches. Pathetic, I know.
 
Too painful to watch, stopped watching in the 3rd quarter. I deleted the game from my DVR. And that doesn't make me a bad fan. I just don't like seeing the Buffs get humiliated.

Intended to. Would have. But there were some pressing things to take care of and what happened in the 3rd quarter didn't justify making people wait around another hour for me.
 
Absolutely did. Sometimes it feels like watching a train wreck but I have my motivations for watching all of every game I can. For example yesterday:
1.) Wanted to see if Wood could get into a rhythm at some point
2.) Wanted to see if PRich would show up
3.) Was enjoying watching Adkins play like a real BCS back. Can't remember the last time we had an RB run like that-with conviction, vision, power and speed. Maybe Purify? I know speedy was awesome and tough for his size but he was a tiny dude with less raw talent
4.) Wanted to see if the offensive play calling would improve
5.) Wanted to see if the kids would keep fighting or just roll over

To be honest the answer to many of those questions was reasonably positive so in all I think it was worth the pain.
 
I have always been interested to watch how players and coaches react when the game is out of reach. You can learn a ton about the buy-in of players. For example, I recall Cody and Hansen laughing their asses off on the sideline during a game when we were getting hammered. I did not see much laughing yesterday on the sidelines in the fourth quarter.
 
Was in Vegas. Checked the score a few times in sports books. Did see about 15 seconds on a small TV in the Rio sports book, but by that point there was no point hanging around to watch...
 
I admit I can not turn away. I wish so much that I could. I just love watching my favorite team / school **** the bed. I do admit my pauses at commercial breaks to peek at other games and score become longer as the game goes on. CU captured lightning in a bottle a decade ago and really do not ever see it happening again. I don't care if Bear Bryant coached at CU. Until some things change around the campus itself. Until we are able to have the mindset that losing IS NOT ACCEPTABLE we will continue down this slide.
 
It is too painful to keep watching when CU is that bad. Also, when CU is this bad I have a hard time enjoying any other college football games. Late 3rd quarter I started surfing other games. My disgust finally pushed me to just turn on a movie to forget about college football all together.

Next Saturday is going to be hard. I HATE going into a game where I give CU zero chance of keeping it close, let alone winning.

this ^ and how true that statement is. Makes me actually jealous that teams around the country seem to still have play-makers show up, even while they are being dismantled. The frustrating part of watching CU, we have not had "that player" that can even produce during a thrashing.
 
No, but I actually missed the 1st half because of my kid's soccer game and forgot to record it. I was pissed about that fact until I watched the second half.
 
Radio only; took a nap during the first half and got some work done outside whilst listening to the massacre in the 2nd half.
 
nope. had to leave. WOuld have stayed and pissed off the group I was with if it was close.
