Do you want RG to make the next FB HC hire....

unfortunately, unless Saliman fires RG in the next week, RG will be the one making the hire so...

He will make the next hire but does not deserve to. I will say that he was on the right track when he hired the guy before Dorrell. But he screwed the pooch by not enacting a more CU friendly contract. And if he made unsustainable promises then that’s on him as well. Finally, if the administration is making the AD’s ability to hire a top candidate impossible, then I doubt any AD would succeed.

Even if RG is a total idiot in writing a contract, and he is, how can anyone above him, along with the financial team, legal team, any group or person that had to sign off on this contract be absolved of blame.

That doesn’t negate that I’m about to invest gambling winnings into an email campaign to Saliman about this issue.
Im holding them hostage with 100 days of auto generated emails sending the worst videos from the dregs of pr0nhub to their work emails until Phil and RG are gone

The tentacles, midgets, and nuggets will not stop until we get what we demand

I was just planning on emailing Saliman a lot outlining the business case for an actual professional Athletic Director.

From what I am told, RG is mainly a figurehead in the hiring of the next coach. Saliman will be the key decision maker for the hire - RG and DiStefano will both be gone at the end of this academic year.
I don't believe it (not because of you, just because I am a jaded buffs fan) so I won't get my hopes up but wow if this came true.

Meeting must have went well!

Have not had the lunch yet with Saliman. Will occur in November. From various folks in and around the AD, I take away that RG is bristling at having such close oversight from the President and being held accountable. LOL.

Saliman seems to be very good listener, and he is apparently getting a tremendous amount of negative feedback on the football program and RG in particular.

No one likes going from having free reign to having bossman watching them work. I feel for RG. But also, **** that guy.

It doesn’t surprise me that he’d be upset about that, but I also wonder what he expected to happen, given the results on the field.
