Early Roll Call for CU @ Stanford in Palo Alto

Hey guys,

I'm curious to know how many of you are going to make it out to the Bay Area for the game against Stanford.

I'll be there. I hope to god it is nothing like Berkeley last year. Maybe I'll go solo, it seriously sucked dragging a group with me to see the game last year.

+1

Should be beautiful. And no mile hike up to Memorial either.

In. There will be an abbreviated sackygate for this game. Location TBD.

What are everybody's plan for getting down to Palo Alot?

Caltrain is a great option since you can drink on board.

I'll be with the wife and boy in Half Moon Bay, so I'm planning to drive in for the game. How long do you think that should take on a Saturday morning?

I'm 75% for this one. Probably have a free place to stay in Cupertino, so I have no reason not to do it.

45 minutes on the short side an hour on the long side.

Where are you staying in HMB? My family and I will be there as well, but staying with family.

Any of you going to the game there is a Westin and a Sheraton right across the street from the main entrance to Stanfurd (palm drive) and right at the entrance to DTPA it is a solid option and rates should be around $100-125 a night for the Sheraton and $150-200 for the Westin if memory serves.

Are you going to buy through CU, or just pay $20 or $10 on either stubhub or buying through Stanford.

I'm going through CU. I think we get a little profit that way.

Definitely taking CalTrain. It is pretty easy and inexpensive.

I'm looking forward to the sackygate.

My wife printed the info for me and left it in my office. I'll send you a PM when I get home from Cali tonight (if this delayed flight ever takes off).

I'll be traveling from Boston with my wife for the game, her family lives in nearby Menlo Park.

Total group: 12 peeps (3 of us are CU Alum)

Does anybody have an update on this Gametime?

Stubhub lists it as a 1:05pm PST kickoff but I can't find data to back that up anywhere.

Only 2 more weeks until kickoff.

I'm hoping we have at least 5,000 Buff fans there. Does anybody have any tailgating plans?
"

I'll be there with Buff Tuba. I think a Bay Area Buff get together is a must and we should do it Friday night. I don't know the city but I'm down for anywhere really.
