Wow, it is so freaking refreshing to hear the head coach actually talk football and make sense instead of throwing out tired and ridiculous cliches!!

Did he mention "the little things?".

There very important just ask the last coach

He spoke very highly of Dorman's pocket presence yet he doesn't easily get flushed out or distracted by the rush, he hangs in there and will smoothly just step up in the pocket if he needs to.

Compared Asiata to Chris Naeole

Can someone explain to me why Embrrrito is fine going on the radio and talking about our recruits/commitments well before the big 3:30 presser, but it would have been catastrophic to have the official website updated as letters came in?

No, you can't.

You're right, I can't. I'm just glad to have a HC that I'm excited to listen to.

Klatt just mentioned something going on at the BST tonight anyone know what that is?

As opposed to:
“I think if you look around the country and you look at CU and you go, ‘Okay, let’s pick a good place to live. Let’s pick a good university. Let’s pick a program that has great football tradition. And let’s look at that well-rounded institution and that program. I think Colorado is pretty good right there.”

I can see why recruits are impressed with Embree. No BS. He proved his impact today. Of all the little tidbits he dropped during the presser, I thought it interesting about his comments about Will Jefferson as a wide receiver and not a running back. That may have skewed the recruiting strategy a bit.

OK, that effing little bitch Mike Evans was doing his, "I wonder if Embree can get it done? His class is ranked 11th in the Pac 12!!!"

**** you Evans you douchebag. Do some homework you lazy prick.

What is the class ranked in the pac 12?

that's like asking a dog to jump to the moon. Evans is the anti-homework. maybe he'll talk about all the beer he drank at the Cuse. he's, like, pretty much the only college student who ever drank beer.

You'd think if a cow can jump over it, a dog could at least jump to it, even though they're shorter.

But only in the minds of the unknowing or naive. There are several diamonds in the rough. The rub is in the coaching. I'll put a buck on this staff getting the most out of the athletes they recruited.

New guy, only slightly newer than me, I like your style.

You being serious? To many years of "diamonds in the rough". This is a fine transition class, but I am not gonna go singing kumbaya and claiming we will automatically develop all players better than other staffs. Times are hopefully changing, and I am sure Embo (may he rule forever and be blessed with many 10 win seasons) will do better than Hawk... but a little early my friend.

recruiting rankings for the Buffs mean jack **** this year. Our coaches came late and scrambled and appear to have done a damn good job.

Let's wait until next year before concerning ourselves as to where we rank in our conference.

This. 13 days of contact and we somehow put together a class with 15 commits after January 1? With numerous three star recruits? Today was a big step forward. I'm not going to pretend this class will have us competing for national titles in four years, but it's a better class than we have had in three years. The play on the field (hopefully inspired) and next year's recruting class will tell us a lot more about where this staff is headed. But, we should be proud of the effort they put forth to make today, all things considered, a success.

Mike Evans pretends he roots for Denver/Colorado sports. The reality is he could care less about Denver/Colorado. And yes, he is the worst radio sports guy in Denver (and that is saying something considering the Big Show has G-Man).
