Embree in his interview yesterday was asked a series of questions about which of the scout team guys and especially the freshmen were standing out. Here are some paraphrased remarks (Not quotes, assholes):
(first question) - How is Connor looking?
He is looking good... endeared himself to his teammates... good looks, especially fitting the ball into tight windows/space.. he's done a good job playing the part of the 5 NFL quarterbacks we faced in the last 6 weeks. (accuracy issues what?)
(follow up - what about the rest of the scout team?)
FIRST person he mentions is Nembot - He's real physical, he enjoys it up there. (please god yes let this guy develop into a starter).
Next he mentions Vincent, Spruce... on D, Jermaine Clark as guys that have done well. Harrington has STILL not practiced.
Other stuff:
Kasa's done well at TE, he's natural at it, he's done well.
Rugby punting - He HATES it. the words don't express it. "We will evaluate it after the season... We will see what we can do to get that fixed."
