that game is on Embo and his staff. they failed on all aspects of the game. Fundamentals were lost. catch the ball hang on to the ball. ****ing field a punt. we lacked fundamentals. Thank god prich is out for the season. if he were playing it would be a waste of our best player.

flat out the buffs were completely out coached.
 
Yep - CSU was better coached.

Embree is officially on the hot seat
 
i understand rebuilding i really do. i expected this season to be tough. but i expect this team to have fundamentals down. thats basic coaching 101. if they continue to play like this i have no problem with embo on the hot seat.

yes the team is young but that was un acceptable. you have to be able to do basic things and we couldnt even do that without ****ing it up. muffed punts dropped balls. there is no reason that ball should have been on the ground so much.

My hats off to the CSU coaching staff. they out coached this team from the start.

Just hit the fast forward button to 2014 ... CU will have the money to hire Pete Carroll. Will CU have the leadership to execute this?
 
Huskermark, try getting laid sometime, even if it's your sister. Getting off on allbuffs reeks of your lack of a life.

Embree is fast approaching DII status. Instead of stupid quotes Embree gives us closed practices and no information. But at the end of the day he ends up getting totally out coached.

Bohn and CU should extend his contract now cause even though he loses, he does things the right way.

Perhaps he just hires lemons and he got lucky with Boyle

Wouldn't that be a dynamic hire? Instant name appeal, instant press, recruiting would go through the roof. His easy-going quercky personality would fit in so nicely in Boulder, he'd be in the Pac12 South, he'd have all the SoCal recruiting contacts. Slam ****ing dunk.

We could afford to pay him 4mil/year.
 
Just curious what happened to the "increase in team speed". Dudes all looked like they were jogging.
 
Embree would be on the hot seat if we were at all relevant.

I feel sorry for the recruits...maybe we can move to the FCS.
 
Anybody remember against Ohio State last year when they went to punt with like 10 seconds left in the half and instead of not even putting a guy back to return it we did and we fumbled? I thought for sure Embree learned his lesson then but I guess not. We are up 14-3 today with all the momentum and in complete control of the game. CSU goes to punt with 30 seconds left in the half FROM MIDFIELD and instead of just letting them kick it, down it, and go to half up 14-3 with us getting the ball we decide to put a guy back there to return the kick...not only that but a guy that hasn't done it in the past. For what reason? What are we going to do with the ball on our own 15 and 25 seconds left in the half? That right there was what lost the game. No way CSU outscores us by 2 touchdowns in the second half with the way our defense was dominating their offense.

I have been one of the biggest supporters of Embree and actually been very confident that if he is given time to build the program we will be fine but not anymore. Sorry. Smart coaches don't do that in that situation. The only thing that could have turned the game around in CSU's favor was a costly turnover or something. Also, he accepted a penalty right before that punt when if he would have declined it it would have been fourth and 6 at midfield. What's with not kicking field goals from the 30 yard line? And I know it sucks kicking a field goal from the 1 yard line but when it will put you ahead late in the game that's what you do.

1-11 will be our record this year. Don't forget how bad CSU is.

We have to see how this season shakes out. He comes out with only 1 or 2 wins (or none, god forbid) then you have to think it isn't working out. He will get year 3, but if the results are similar, then why do you wait?
