Espn poll

at the bottom left of espn's college fb home page is a poll for the best mascot, and uga is at 43 percent of the votes and ralphie is tied with ****ing lard ass bevo with 21 percent. I find that ralphie being that low is ridiculous. Is america full of retards or am i just that biased

I've never understood why UGA is any better than the MS State, Fresno, MN Duluth, Georgetown or any other bulldog mascot. And yes people are generally morons.
 
America is full of retards. There are a bunch of teams that have dogs for mascots, even a few that specifically have a bulldog. I've never understood what's special or interesting about UGA.

As far as BEVO is concerned, it's not a mascot... it's dinner.

Those polls are driven by fanbases, not reason. Big fanbase, with lots of spare time, big results. Surprised the herbie husker isn't number one, followed closely by li'l red.

the knu fans that have puters, internet and computer skills come to this site. all 6 of 'em. not enough people to make an impact on a poll like that. now, if it were a mail in deal, they would be well ahead.

It's because UGA is by far the most well-known bulldog (or non-bulldog) mascot out there. So this is nothing more than a popularity poll, not the best mascot.
 
Timing. Uga's getting the sympathy vote because of his death. Like how we all forgot about Michael Jackson's freakshow decade and a half once he expired.
 
What a bunch of morons. At least Ralphie is ahead of Bevo now. Also nice to see that miserable state to our northeast voting for Ralphie
