I love the Buffs. My wife and I attended countless games through the years. I want nothing more than to see them do well. I just don't agree with the "we got hosed" comments that are going around. CU has no one to blame but themselves. How many teams do you know of that get the the dance winning only two conference road games?
I still believe the NCAA is ruining the Dance by bringing in weaker teams. There are nineteen teams with 10 loss records in the tourney. It's a disgrace.

Mizzou probably shouldn't be in there either. How many conference road games did mizzou win? Oh ya 1 against ISU.

Our losses would have all been RPI top 100 too if we played every OOC at home. The thing working for Mizzou is all their losses came from teams in the top 100 in the RPI.
Sounds like whomever is setting up the schedule is doing a damn fine job. :smile2:
I think mizzou did enough to get in. My point is that every piece of logic that someone uses to justify why we are not in ends up being proved wrong every single time. There is no logical or rational explanation other than Beebe is on the committee and there is way to much politics involved anymore.Fine with mizzou getting into a 68 team field. its the teams worse than them that are in and not us that is hard to comprehend.
The way this went down I honestly dont know if that win in Ames would have changed anything.Like I said earlier, I'm upset CU didn't get in. I just don't see the point in blaming everyone but ourselves for how things turned out. CU knew how important the ISU game was in Ames, yet they still **** the bed. Same thing in San Fran. And dont get me started on the losses to OU and Nebraska. issed:
It wasn't just one 'piece of logic' that CU got left out. It was all of them. Weak OOC conference schedule, the unexplainable losses to OU, kNU, Harvard, San Fran, ISU. The two conference wins on the road. Dan Beebe.I think mizzou did enough to get in. If the NCAA just left the Tourney at 64 teams, we wouldn't be having this discussion. We'd all be happy with how Tad did with an undersized squad, and would be looking forward to kicking ass in the NIT.
It's not that. If we'd taken care of business, we probably would have been a 5 or 6 seed considering we were the 3rd or 4th best team in the Big 12.
The issue is that every bubble team's resume had warts on it, but if you picked 3 objective criteria, ranked them in importance, and applied them to every one of the bubble teams... I don't believe that there's a single mix they could come up with that would have left the Buffs out.
That leaves non-objective. If you go with "eyeball test", we're in. So the only thing left is "politics". And that's why we're not in the tourney.

I'm happy with the job Tad has done. Even if we don't show well in the NIT. This is a great season to build off of. I'm excited with the direction this program is heading.
It's all Obama's fault.this. valdez is tearing at Cu's resume, but if he did the same to the other teams, it would be far worse.
BTW, Skip Bayless is a douchebag. Is that something we can all agree on? :smile2:
It's all Obama's fault.
Okay AZ.Hmm. seems like you just lost the argument :smile2:
Okay AZ.
