Favorite CU Reporter?

I will say, I’ve really appreciated both Brian and Adam’s coverage over the years. Both have been really solid reporters and it probably wasn’t very easy covering a lack luster football team the last 20 years.

Patrick Ridgell was the best, but the vagaries of newspaper sports reporting pushed him out of the industry completely a long time ago. For those of you who don’t recognize the name, he was the sports reporter assigned to CU athletics from the Longmont Times Call. Back when the Times Call was an actual newspaper and not just outlet for stories from the Denver Post. Ridgell was very good, and he didn’t have to worry about pissing off CU like the folks at the Daily Camera did. His reporting was honest and well done. Last I checked, he was working in the marketing department for one of the Denver mutual fund companies.
