Favorite Football Moment While You Were At CU.

Hey gang,

New here on the board so i thought i would pose a question.

I graduated from CU in 2007 so i was there for the 2003-2006 football seasons, the best moment i saw while there was the 2004 goal line stand vs. CSU it shouldn't have had to come down to that but that was an amazing stop.

What was the best moment in Football when you were at CU?

62-36. Best sporting event I've ever attended. So many close calls against Nebraska the years leading up to it only made it sweeter.

For those of you who weren't around for the '89 season, there were so many great moments. First among them was the tribute to Sal after his death. Very moving. On the field, the Illinois game was fun to watch, as Jeff George was battered so much he left the game. Loved the hook and lateral play to jj flannigan that year too. I am grinning from ear to ear recalling those days. Good times.

My favorite CU in-person moments were actually both ties.

1991 CU / Nebraska in the freezing cold. Greg Biekert's return on the blocked xp.

1992 CU / OU with Mitch Berger's kick to tie the game at the end.

The 1989 CU / OU game in Norman was great too. Hagan's pitch to JJ Flannigan was amazing.

1) Klatt & Co. crushing the corn in Lincoln in '04
2) Big Play Ron Monteilh vs K-State in '04
3) Chris Brown vs K-State in '02

I was thinking about that game as well. ALfred and the defense made that dickhead George eat his words after he called the Buffs an average team. *When Illinois was down on the closed end of the field, Folsom was so loud George couldn't call signals.

1. 62-36
2. The Next Game ('01 Big 12 Title Game vs. Texas in Dallas)

Those were magical back-to-back games. One a blowout, and one so close. That was a great first year at CU (I was a transfer, not a dumb freshman, and could appreciate having a great team).

Yeah, he got all whiny about that. That was during the same phase in the NFL where they would kind of give you a time out if you couldn't hear. Such a panzy era. Buff D was filled with bad asses.

MOST of the '94 & '95 seasons, excepting the games against the ****ers. Goddam mother****ing ****braska.

During my time at CU:

1991: 19-19 Tie in Boulder vs. nubs.
1994: 55-17 asswhuppin of Wisconsin in Boulder
1994: Michigan. The Catch. Nuff said.
1994: 41-24 whuppin of Notre Dame in the Fiesta Bowl
But I gotta say that my FAVORITE game/moment during my time was:
1995: Beating #3 Texas A&M 29-21 in Boulder. Something about that game (the result, maybe?) was really awesome.

1986 game vs NU....perhaps the turning point for Coach Mac.....

Ok Doogie.

And I wasn't giving Soldier a hard time for doing a victory lap. I wish I had taken 5 years. Although I would have easily given up three of the years I did have to have just one good football season while I was there.

Jeff Campbell's reverse against the fuskers. That game got me hooked on college football.

and yeah I'm old.
