These two were a couple of bad looking mammajammas in college.....and they were pretty good to boot.

He was much less intimidating looking when he had hair in college and wasn’t that big either, having stood next to him in street clothes many times. That’s a good bald to badass photo, as a Bear.

Really enjoying this thread, over the years the technology and such has made it more difficult to see the size of players on TV. Live in 90 Williams and McGhee with pads on were oaks and when they hit you could hear rows up..it was so violent you could swear you were a Roman in the coliseum.

Or this guy before Naeole came of age.

There were some players who were better players than Steed or some others who would be considered for this thread. If I am thinking about someone who is intimidating off the bus Steed would be an excellent choice. The guys who were going to be lined up across from him knew they were in for a rough day because while other players may have been bigger, faster, stronger very few were going to be as intense from opening KO to final whistle as Steed was.

Another thought in here.

Greg Biekert used to have some crazy eyes. He would get a look in his eyes like there was something seriously wrong with getting in his way. If he had that look coming off the bus it would make me think twice.

Williams and McGee were just so amazing to me when I saw them play in person. At their prime, they were dominant and they looked like they were 7 feet tall and as big as a tree, yet they could literally run sideways around the Tackle and met at the QB. I would want both of those guys to get off the bus with those giant pads, although they probably could not fit through the bus doors!

Same concept for my under the radar pick- Quinn Sypniewski who was also like 6’6”

Definitely Mr. Joel Steed.

Also, Ryan Miller would be a good choice too. He is a big man.

Ryan looked full grown from day one, he just looked huge. Made even bigger because at the time most of our roster was full of guys who looked like MWC or Big Sky players. Always a bad sign when your coaches are bigger than your players.

Who would be first off the bus this year? Lang?
(Most intimadating picture ever haha)
