No doubt ... it's bowl game or Mike Mac loses his job. It will be put up or shut up time.

csu to open the year at Denver ..

home games against Idaho St, ASU, Oregon St, Washington St, UCLA and Utah

road games at Michigan, Arizona, Stanford and USC

Do you see 6 wins ?? :cautious:

csu ... but damn it's their Super Bowl and typically a toss-up of late
Idaho St
OSU
Wazzu

so where do the other two come from ? Utah ?? new QB ?
can they win at Arizona ?

If we bring in a few more JUCOs like we did this year, and everyone else is bigger and stronger, we should be good. But that's assuming continuity, Leavitt still on board and progression across the board. We need to show up this season for next season to go well.

That's exactly what I said last year.

This is BS. It's put-up or shut-up for MacIntyre in the next 8 weeks. Winning less than 2 PAC 12 games will result in a new coach in 2016. It's amazing how low the standards of accountability are for MacIntyre by select CU fans. Fortunately, Rick George expects at least minimal results from easily the most highly compensated coaching staff ever at CU.

if CU doesn't get these two Pac 12 wins many here will be disappointed when Mike Mac is given a final year. I will be in that same boat with those disappointed but I'm saying it now ... Mike Mac will be back.

What is our ceiling as a program if things were optimal? 9-3 8-4 Sometimes a 10-2 season?

I feel that some expectations exceed the reality of where we could be in the current state of CFB. I'm not sure the early 90's success is achievable again for CU.

It really depends on the commitment from the administration. If the program has full support from the administration then the sky is the limit.

I'm not sure I believe that anymore.

Do you think we have full support now?

How much more support can we expect?

Ask Bailer

Preach! It amazes me how many Mac apologists are out there. If you are the highest paid public employee in the state of Colorado, you should be held accountable at all times.

I agree that the early 90's success is not achievable. But I don't see any reason why we can't have a similar success rate of programs like Wisconsin, Utah, Arizona State, Oregon State, etc. And I would even argue that CU, with the new facilities, has more going for it compared to these schools.

Colorado should expect better success than Oregon State and, on a historical average, Bailer as well.

I seriously can't believe this thread has hit but it is Allbuffs. We are one ****ing game into Pac12 play. Let's get through October before we start seeing if we have to go, well another year down but no excuses next year. No ****ing excuses this year, if we don't win 3 Pac 12 games it's a disappointing season. 2 is enough to say maybe. Anything less and it's time to just let Leavitt take over and MacIntyre can be a high paid assistant.

why do we have to wait until October is over? Did you not see the Hawaii game and every PAC12 game we lost last season? What are we waiting for?

well ..that's my point of this thread ... I sense posters think Mike Mac has a legitimate chance of getting let go if a few Pac 12 wins don't happen and I'm here to say he will be back for year four -
