The Shaqs (Barrett/Bell) on D scare me from a CU standpoint. CSU has an upperclassmen offensive line that could dictate pace. Nwoke is a player, but I don't see much else as far as skill players on offense. They're going to slow play QB starter all the way to Sunday.

Two of their best players were arrested and kicked off the team. Their savior QB wasn't that good. Nwoke is great against similar competition but just good to average against better teams. They asked big CSU students to try out for (I think) the offensive line because they didn't have enough bodies.

Exactly! And now these same people are considered (according to many posters) an experienced, dominating O-line???

That was purely for practices, as they wanted 15-20 linemen to practice the way their Coach Mac runs things, which is similar to here btw. They got lots of big, experienced hogs up front and they get the edge there, especially with depth.

True but practicing against linemen who played in high school/college gives you different results than lineman who are just big bodies.

Given the humiliation we faced going against their lines it felt like we didn't practice at all. My biggest fear is another 2009 or 2012, both of which saw us get destroyed at the line of scrimmage.

Hopefully our DL rotation meets the challenge of a veteran CSU OL.

They are running the 4-3, and not much experience behind the three starters on the DL. Hopefully this helps our crew out on the OL who have similar depth issues.
