Drawing a lot of negative attention and considering where he is at it should.
Had he put it better though in this case I would agree with him. If he had said something along the lines of "these seniors have helped establish a foundation that we can build further success on and at the same time been winners in the classroom and life" then it would be a lot harder to make fun of it.
Of course being in SEC country half the fans wouldn't know which side of a textbook to open first and consider classes and studying to be a distraction from the real business of beating down FCS teams to fatten your statistics.
I join everyone else here in being glad we have Mike Mac instead of Butch but in a world of Baylors and Penn States and Miamis I have to at least support his idea if not his presentation of it.
Maybe he knows those wins will be vacated shortly?
