The guy is a good coach. That guy is a meat head. Who cares.
There goes K State recruiting. After Huggins and Martin, I don't know who they could possibly go to who is willing to play as dirty to get players into Manhattan Kansas. Maybe they could hire Tim Floyd away from UTEP. It's been a few years since he paid OJ Mayo's handler. Most folks probably won't remember and, besides, the NCAA seems ok with Floyd still being the head man at one of their member programs.

South Carolina has no basketball tradition. Seems like a lateral move to me. Frank should go for the Illinois job. Right next door to Chicago recruits.

agree the story is over blown... however i think this is the tip of the icebergSeems like an overblown story.
Is Martin still banned from having contact with Florida high school kids or was that only a ban on him coaching high school basketball there?
Kansas State coach Frank Martin has accepted the head coach position with the South Carolina Game****s, he confirmed in a text message to ESPN.com.
Martin met with South Carolina officials Monday and said conversations first started between his party and South Carolina on Saturday. Martin had texted Friday night that he had not spoken to South Carolina officials.
http://www.cbssports.com/collegebas...06/frank-martin-to-south-carolina-a-done-dealMartin, who has led Kansas State to the NCAA tournament in four of his five seasons since taking over for Bob Huggins, has agreed to replace Darrin Horn. Martin confirmed he accepted the job to CBSSports.com on Monday night.
Martin called Kansas State athletic director John Currie, who made minimal effort to retain Martin, at 6:30 p.m. ET to resign.

Sorry, but Frank Martin just traded down. Not saying he can't get it done, but when you succeed at K-State your next job is not at S Car.
Has the feel of Bzdelik leaving us for Wake.

according to the world of twitter, bill reiter (foxsports.com writer) seems to think tad boyle is a frontrunner for the ksu job. Seems unlikely that boyle would leave for manhattan, and i hope not as it looks like cu is headed in the right direction under boyle.
