Men's bball (9-15 overall; 0-13 in the Big 12) has another home and road duo of games over the next few days. 1st off they host this Saturday afternoon the University of Central Florida (UCF) Knights (13-11, 4-9). Then, they head off to Ames for a 3rd meetup of the season against the #10 ranked Iowa State Cyclones (19-5, 9-4).

In the latest NET rankings (through games played 2/13/25; available at https://www.ncaa.com/rankings/basketball-men/d1/ncaa-mens-basketball-net-rankings), CU is at #107, UCF #70 and ISU #7.

As has been the case for most conference and home games so far this season, both games are scheduled to be streamed on ESPN+ for those with a premium ($) subscription to that service. (Further info and links for media options available near the bottom of this post.)

Looking for 2 tickets to Saturday's game so I can take the kiddos. Both are undefeated soooo it's in our best interest

“I’m 100% confident that on Saturday, we’re going to get our first (Big 12) win,” said Rancik, who posted season-highs of 19 points and nine rebounds against the Jayhawks. “This team, (our) morale is pretty well in comparison to our record. We just want to win, all of us in the locker room. There’s no doubt in my mind that on Saturday against UCF we’ll get it done.

“We have a great group of guys who love each other in the locker room. Every game, we’re learning to play more and more for each other. That’s going to be the key down the road. If we do that, I have no doubt in my mind we can go on a little run here.”

Oof. Nice bulletin board material. I was thinking we definitely win this, but now...UCF by 5.

I don't think teams care much about bulletin board material from an 0-13 team. I do think this is the game they win. They have been playing better with fewer turnovers. UCF traveling across the country in a low motivation type game. This all adds up to a win. Vegas agrees, CU -1.5
 
No cops or event staff guiding fans into lots and across streets today. Saw 2 pedestrians almost get hit and another two cars almost go head on. Cops sitting in their car watching because it’s cold is diabolical.

You should report it as a season ticket holder. I noticed the same, but it was almost 1 1/2 hours before tip so we thought we were just early.
 
I can’t remember who it was that talked about how ****ty the ESPN+ production was but they could not have been more right. The P12 network sucked in a market sense but they had top notch production. This is ****ing horrible, and I’m not counting the fact that this dip**** can’t pronounce “Colorado Mesa”.
