Games thread - Men's Bball scheduled to visit #6 Arizona (Thurs., 1/13/21, 9:00 PM MT, FS1) and ASU (Sat., 8:00 PM MT, ESPN2)

Men's basketball (11-3, 3-1 in Pac 12 play) is scheduled to have its 1st road games since last Dec. 10th (the UCLA loss) this weekend, starting with a matchup tomorrow night against the #6 Arizona Wildcats (12-1, 2-0), followed up with a Saturday evening tilt against the ASU Sun Devils*** (5-8, 1-2).
(***With ASU announcing a couple days ago its scheduled game tomorrow against Utah was postponed due to Covid-19 protocol issues within its program, I was worried the odds weren't good for their Saturday game against the Buffs actually taking place. However, they did tweet this afternoon that, in addition to confirming that Saturday game was still planned, they have also rescheduled 2 more games over the next week that had been previously postponed, so HOPEFULLY (!?!) their protocol issues are improving.)

Tomorrow's game is scheduled to be on FS1, while Saturday's is slotted for ESPN2. (More detail and links near the bottom of this post.)

It makes the days happier, when the Buffs are playing. C'mon Lawson - breakout game.

Saw an article saying Sabitino Chen's family's home was lost in the fire - although he has another home in Denver. Nice if Karma would give him a little joy, in the form of a Buff victory

We're getting 15.5 points. Seems like a lot but I admitedly have not seen zona play.

Shocker. Anybody been to Arizona recently? No masks...ANYWHERE. My nephews (both unvaccinated) have it and everyone in the family down there is like, "What??? How??? Where???" Their school started the 2nd semester with around 60% of the students showing symptoms coming back from break.

I hope Tad is being VERY cautious down there. Would hate for them to bring something back.
 
if the ASU game is cancelled, I hope Boyle gets the news tonight and the team can come home. would suck to spend three extra days on the road and then find out.

but then, we apparently didn't tell KU until a few hours before tip, causing them to make a trip here and back for nothing at all.

Agreed. The Stanford game had no fans, except 200 or so family and staff.

Edit 2: annoying AF they announce the CU - UA tip in ET and PT, when both schools are in the MT. F ucking coastal elite bias.
