New on the WBB NCAA tourney: field expanded to 68 like the men's tourney. New ESPN bracketology makes the Marquette at Boulder game VERY interesting... two of the teams in the "last 4 byes" category : Colorado and Marquette

These are the type of non-conference games that have a huge impact on your NET ranking and has a huge domino effect on your respective conferences. November-December determines how well everyone's got to do in conference play in order to be on the right side of the Bubble line.

The game is scheduled to tipoff this Friday, beginning at 7:00 PM, and is the team's home opener for the season.

I know the bracketologies are way too early, but this one I liked because it has the Buffs playing in Iowa City. Against Iowa. If that happens Caitlin Clark will school them on what a point guard is.

If she's the one I saw in the Dance shred UConn last year, then yeah. She dominates the game flow like few players I've seen.

Preview (mainly covering Maura Singer's comeback) is now out.

"
Colorado center Maura Singer has journeyed a long way to get on the court at the CU Events Center. The sophomore now in her third season with JR Payne and the Buffaloes is a familiar face to those around the program, but 2021-22 marks the first season she's suiting up for the Buffs.

The Columbine High School graduate and Littleton, Colo., native, committed to Colorado in 2018 as part of a class that included Jaylyn Sherrod and Charlotte Whittaker. Both Sherrod and Whittaker have been able to contribute for the Buffs since they arrived on campus, while Singer has had to sit and watch.
...

"She's probably one of the toughest people I know," Sherrod exclaimed. "She comes in every day, even during her recovery. She would come in and be vocal in practice. She would be in the moment working on her recovery, but she just always stayed in the moment. You appreciate when people are going through their own stuff but can still find a way to put the team first. That's what Maura has done these past two years. We came in together and for her to finally be able to play, it's a good moment for all of us."

Singer and the Buffs are set to open a six-game homestand on Friday, starting with Marquette (7 p.m. MT). Friday will be the start of a busy week and a half for Colorado, which is slated to play five games in 10 days.

Marquette (3-0) is third in the NCAA with 73 assists this early this season and has outscored opponents by a combined 251-133.

Mark Johnson will have the call on the Colorado Radio Network. Pregame starts at 6:30 p.m. MT.

If she's the one I saw in the Dance shred UConn last year, then yeah. She dominates the game flow like few players I've seen.

As a freshmen, she and Paige Buckner of UConn were co-players of the year on some lists. They switched off being player of the year in the other lists. Freshmen.

Clark has already had a triple double 3 games in. No they haven't played B1G competition, but she's doing her thing. She also got the first technical of her life.

Don't know if it's just me, but looks like someone may have forgotten to hit a switch, and the stream isn't working???

The poor free throw shooting is going to kill them. I do not understand why they can't shoot free throws.

I like the defense and Congrats to Mya on a double double.
