Going to work Friday?

Curious who is going to work Thursday, go home and get ready for our game, and then go straight to work a few hours after it is over?
Hopefully we win, which will make Friday a lot better. If we lose? Might just call in and go to bed.
BTW - You Dudes on the east coast. Good Luck
Go Buffs!

Have the day off. Can't decide which is the better idea: go to bed early (8:30-9:00) and get up at 1:00am for the kick-off, or stay up till 4:30. Currently leaning towards bed early & up early, that way Friday won't be a complete waste of a day...

Going to work Thursday and then taking Friday off. But I'm moving that day so hopefully it's a happy move and not an angry move.

Taking Friday off - my office is in the middle of the Taste of Colorado events so that day is always a cluster with parking and stuff. Plus, Friday is all about the hair of the dog due to the wee morning celebration of a Buff victory!

Flying home Thursday, head straight to Fantasy draft, watch game then head to work the next day. Will be glorious to revel in the win at work with all of the non-believers

Have to work on Friday. Will be watching at home while the DVR is recording. Hoping I don't fall asleep in the middle of the game. I'm just not 22 anymore and anything past midnight takes effort.

DVR game.
get up 4AM Friday, watch game, be at work by 8AM.

love the way DVR gave me control back over my sports watching schedule!

I felt that way until a few years ago. Now I watch nearly 100% of my TV, including sports, on DVR. hardest part was training friends and family members to not text me during the game.

Edit: I know I quoted RalphieSpeaks, I even got a pop-up telling me his post was added to mine as a quote, but don't see it.

Game is in the middle of the first week of archery season. If I can find a site that is streaming the game, I may:
sleep for a few hours
wake up at 1030 and drive to a spot that I have coverage to watch the game
take a nap and then start hiking at 5am.

If I can't watch it I will probably just sleep as usual (not waking up to listen).

I'm also considering this plan. I am a little weird about it, and I'm concerned that I'll be too anxious to sleep while the game is on. I prefer live, but this might be a fair option...

Working Thursday. Then have two friends coming into town Thursday. Will watch the game Thursday night and have Friday off. I just hope we make it to at least halftime before we are all in a beer coma.

I will be going Broncos preseason game (7pm) to kill time before the game. Someone has suggested that I should just have a tailgate at the preseason game at SAF. Not a bad idea. I mean who said you need to be in Hawaii to tailgate for the game? Wear cu gear and MAYBE go in for a quarter of the game. Then finish out tailgating and go somewhere to watch the game.

i think im the only idot who is taking friday off and flying to Maui for a week the day after the game

I will be off Friday relaxing on the beach the north shore or in the hotel pool before my flight back home to Nebraska.

I still need to find a way to watch the game. We're still living in a temporary apartment from the flood and don't have cable satellite access.
