PALM DESERT, Calif. — The University of Colorado men's golf team slipped two spots into ninth place here Saturday in the 16th annual Wyoming Desert Intercollegiate, as scores were significantly higher in the second round. No. 19 Auburn turned in the best score in the second round, a 5-under 283, to take over the lead with a 563 (13-under) team score. No. 50 Charlotte remained in place, three out of the lead at 566, while Boise State (573), Denver (574) and North Texas (575) make up the rest of the top five.
