You suck. I was actually hoping for some actual good news.
Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results:wtf:
Probably it is that the other guys suck worse.

If I hear "He stepped it up in practice and earned the job" I will puke.
Man, why are you guys ripping me? I should have said, "Probably because the coaches believe the other guys are worse." I do not have a dog in this race. I just want improvement. But I can't believe, after all that has happened at QB, the coaches would start Webb again unless the other guys are just not stepping up in the coach's opinions. Why else, tell me, would the coaches start Webb again?
Again, my comment is based on what I believe the coaches must believe. Not anything I know or believe. I have no idea what goes on in practice.
Simple, embree thinks they have a shot so he's going with experience. When the buffs are trailing 31-3 at half, he'll bring in hirsch...
This is HAWK part 2.
This administration and lack of caring by alumni across the globe and players makes me sick.
This. You suck. I was actually hoping for some actual good news.
Great Your basing this informed opinion on direct observation. Correct? Oh I forgot we haven't seen any other QB take meaningfull snaps! Maybe Hirshman and Wood both suck, but with 4 games left in a disasterous season why not find out in a meaningfull game.
This. He must be really freaking good on Tuesdays. You suck. I was actually hoping for some actual good news.
If a guy can't even practice right what makes you want to see him in a game. What kind of message does that send out to the rest of the team? Don't worry about practice because the coaches will play you anyway.
What bothers me is that, apparently, the guys who have been here a while, Hirsch and Woods, did not improve to the point under this staff where they could not beat out a guy who had been here only a few weeks. That speaks to the coaching staff. IMO.DBT, one reasonable explanation is the NFL mentality on this staff. Backup QBs in the NFL are mostly anonymous and it takes very special circumstances to make a change.
I have little faith the backups will prove to be an upgrade, but if we go into next season with only one QB on the roster having starting experience (Hirschman's brief start at ASU notwithstanding), this staff deserves a lot of criticism. You cannot be as bad as we have been and still have backups with little experience, not to mention falling back on the inexperience excuse at every turn.
