That is what the envelope with the season ticket package says. So, I opened up the envelope, admittedly with low expectations, and this is what "Great offers" were included:
- $5 off a purchase of $25 or more from Hazel's Beverage World
- Free appetizer at Fate Brewing Company
- $5 off with purchase of 2 entrees at Outback
- "Saving Money" at GEICO, whatever that means
- An invitation to join "The Belles"
- An information card from the compliance office telling me not to recruit
- 10% off Frontier tickets (Restrictions apply)

Wow! I'm overwhelmed. But couldn't they do better?

Not exactly up to Groupon or Amazon Local levels for those discounts. I'll use most of them, though. I like these sponsors.
 
Pissed I can't use the frontier discount until the 28th. I would have already bought my tickets to the Bay Area for the cal game
 
How about a card, like a credit card, that you can scan at sponsor establishments to get a discount? Then the marketing folks could go out and sign up businesses to offer discounts. Kind of like the old "Gold C" books but on a card. Or something like that. Then, with your season tickets, you get "hundreds of dollars in discounts."

Marketing students could do it as a class project or something. Sign up businesses all over Boulder and the surrounding area. Get the stores in the Flatirons Mall, etc., to sign up.

So a coupon book discount card? Just be happy with the tickets. If you want a coupon book, get one for $10

Hazels is a legit liquor store. I have no idea why anyone shops at Liquor Mart anymore. If you're an especially dead beat dad and bring your kids while stocking up, they even give the kids toy glider planes.
 
Hazel's and Fate are great Boulder stores. Funny story - I was officially an employee of Fate for about a week and a half prior to it opening up. Got an interview the day after accepting a server position there and was offered a full time, salaried position elsewhere. Great people there and the founders are really down to earth, good people. Glad to see that they jumped on this opportunity to reach thousands of people and hope they continue to thrive.

They send all their crap to me, even though I'm nowhere near as senior as some others around here. It just waste my time throwing it out and I considered contacting them to stop it but if they are spending their money on me then that's less they have to support political positions I don't agree with so keep it coming and I'll keep throwing it out.
