As much as I like all of them, Shadeur is clearly best. I love JJ, but I also remember being in Lincoln ('87?) where he broke free for wide open TD run, no one within 15 yards of him, and he inexplicably just dropped the ball. Buffs went on to lose 7-0 :mad:

But I still loved JJ and I think his recruitment, which received national press, was part of CU's resurgence under Mac. I also loved the stadium announcer when he had to announce "JJ" or "OC".

I mean you kinda have to give it to sanders but each of those other guys were absolute favorites and difference makers.

Crazy that JJ and Deion were actually on the same team, both as #2, in 1988.

Also, we could have a worst to ever wear #2 poll. Turns out Katie Hnida wore #2. And Darrell Scott cursed the number so badly that there wasn’t even a number 2 the following year. Maybe one of the only years that happened.

Can't vote on this. We have had some good #2s.
Watched usc retire Caleb's #13. We would not retire #12 would we? I am against retiring #s.
