BVSD schools are out for four days beginning Friday. I would bet lots of families will be out of town for the UDub game thus suppressing attendance.
 
7,330. One of the smallest crowds of the season tonight. Thought the students would pull it out. They didn't.
 
Average of 10 guesses was 8,090.
Still taking guesses for the UW game. Already bracing for a bad student section because of the noon tip.
 
WTF happened last night with Coach Kent?

Did some asshole really peg him with a golf ball or some object?
 
The CU video people need to start doing a separate game video that focuses on the C-unit. They then play it 10 times between games, on the CU channel. If those kids thought they could see themselves on TV or streaming video each game, they might show up. They care a lot more about their own images and how cool they are, than about CU sports

Not sure, but just before the announcement someone almost drilled one of the refs with something, only like 2 feet off from and ref was mid court and it came from the student section.

C-Unit folks saying the one that hit Kent was not from the Students. Not sure about the one that almost hit the ref.

I saw something whiz past the WSU huddle and then spin off the court at the other end (towards the tunnel). Kent immediately went to the refs holding his head. I think he was faking it!

if they got it there from the student section we should suit them up for spring ball.

I agree with this statement. Saw something flying and then roll across the floor. While it is still not cool to be throwing things, I don't believe that it actually hit Ernie.

Another good showing from the general public, though I didn't think it was *quite* as full as Cal despite the higher number. Students were, as expected, mostly absent. I'm mad as hell about this, and I'm going to do what I can to talk to people about how we can make sure next year goes differently.

Average guess was 8,818. Closest was Scotch.

I think there is truth that the attendance of the current year is a product of the previous year. I think the issue is that A. people don't care and no matter what they won't go because it's not as "cool" anymore. B. The advertising is lacking. It's no secret that people on allbuffs are probably some of the most passionate fans of this fanbase. When I woke up I texted people about the game and they had no idea we even had a game. Send out more emails have signs on campus for all the games not just $1 ticket games etc.
