Lots of talk about the 8pm start keeping attendance down, but looking at the map it's clear that the CU AD is, for the first time in a while, choosing attendance over revenue for this game. I think they really want to average 50,000 for the season. Tickets are priced extremely cheap for a conference game, and they gave away tickets to season ticket holders. Students won't be there but all student sports pass holders will still be counted in the number. I've guessed low all season, so I'll guess high.

48,296 announced with about 35,000 in the stands.

This sort of fits here. The AD's "Thank You" to the fans. Another s/o coming
Be sure to keep scrolling down. photos from all games

Im so proud of the crowds this year, it’s been a blast. I’m glad I got my season tickets this year and was able to add to the totals. Fans showed up and supported a new coaching staff and believed in a team that hasn’t even played all that well at times. Pat yourselves on the back because that played a part in getting some of these recruits.

Of course this is the time I should have followed my gut. Our guesses for the USC and Stanford games would have fit this game very well, and vice versa.
@boulder77 was the only one even in the neighborhood and actually got pretty close.

It was a small crowd but compared to last year's game on the same weekend (with a team going for bowl eligibility!), not to mention the 2013 senior day that saw a 4-6 Buffs team taking on USC at a similar time slot, it was acceptable for a 4-6 team.

Thanks for playing Guess the Attendance this football season. We'll be back for select games during basketball conference play.
