Hats Off to the Buffs...

I know it wasn't how you guys wanted to finish the year after "The Rise", but as a Pokes fan, I just wanted to say that despite it not being showed by your men on the field; Congratulations on an incredible run. I know the bad-taste is hard to wash out right now after the UW/OSU games (I know all about late season bad tastes seeing as we lose to OU for the de-facto Big 12 Championship year after year after year), but you guys are good fans that deserve to be in the mix every year. And it's exciting with what MM has been able to accomplish in a short time. It has brought new life to the city during the college football season (especially since the Broncos choked this year).

I went to the UCLA game and watched yall's defense play lights out football against Rosen and Co. Folsom was LOUD during that game.

I live in Lakewood/Littleton (basically off 285) and watched at a local bar and Buffs fans were incredibly gracious and good sports about it despite the games events.

Just wanted to wish you guys well for the following off-season and that I will be at a few games in 2017 at Folsom (I promise I'll wear a neutral color).

Hats off to the Pokes...and please get your head coach a haircut...the guys on ESPN couldn't stop training their cameras on him.

This post is NOTHING like how you describe the state of college football in Colorado to your kindred cowpokes on OrangePower.

You mean there really are CU fans who care about football in the Denver area? Now that is a revelation. It's nice to see you less cynical, more gracious side.

Yours is one of the nicer post CU loss drive-byes I've seen this season.

Congrats on cheering on a team that actually came to play.

We had a 10 win season. Beyond what any of us were expecting during the off season. Way beyond. Additionally, we contended for the god forsaken conference championship along the way.

Not bad.

Look, we lost 4 games against 4 playoff ranked teams. Thats nothing to be ashamed of. I think we played well above our heads. A lot of blood was squeezed from that turnip. Its really hard to get kids to play above their level. To buy in. We shouldnt be upset. We just didnt have enough difference makers to make it happen. The future does look bright. We should be comforted by that. Though the cracks are concerning.

I wish we'd won like everyone else. Im not upset. I didnt see anything last night that didnt also happen against our other losses.

Thank you for your kind words and not being a troll. Mullet Mike sure looked like the real deal last night. Congratulations on your win.
