HCMM in good company

I heard this mentioned on Dallas sports radio yesterday. I knew that HCMM was on Parcell's staff with the Cowboys, but I did not realize that five of Parcell's assistants ultimately became head coaches in the NFL and two at D1 colleges. I found that fascinating.

I think if you look back at Parcels staffs going all the way about to his days at the Giants you will find a lot of familiar head coaching names.

I'm biased because Parcells dumped ****ter #1 (Sparano) and ****ter #2 (Jeff Ireland) on the Dolphins while collecting a paycheck for seemingly doing nothing. Those guys then did what they could to field a subpar team for years on the reputation of Parcells. MEh

Do you think if he'd have left Cam Cameron in place when he arrived things would have been any better?

Frankly, the Dolphins have lacked a big time QB since Dan Marino. Always bad enough to just miss the playoffs (****ing Patriots) as well as always good enough to not get a top first round pick (****ing Jets, Colts, and Bills).

HCMM made a bunch of friends when he was in Dallas. Too bad it has not paid any dividends with ****ing recruiting in the metroplex

Anything is better than that guy. Still doesn't mean it was a job well done to do marginally better.

My guess is the very public chaos at aTm and Uterus could be helpful. Prior to this year those schools had closed ranks and seemed juggernauts of success with the right coaches. Now there is certainly doubt about UT and A&M.

I remember when the dolphins existed. I wonder what ever happened to them? I just can't recall, kind of a blur.

They disappeared that day of all the mass hallucinations - when everyone thought all the spaceships appeared that were going to destroy the earth. Apparently the dolphins left a couple of people a goodbye message in fishbowls.

I'm worried this is going to either be a lame duck year for MM or it is the season before a lame duck season? make since? I'm worried. I have never seen a program that has been in a "building" mode as long as ours. Crazy! there are just so many holes in our roster, and we have so many kids that just do not seem able to step the **** up.

He should have been fired at the end of the season, it is lame duck time until he is fired. Recruiting ended weeks ago for this staff once conference play started.
