Congratulations and well deserved. Clean sweep on COY awards, although definitely bittersweet.
That's awesome. 34 years after his Father won the same award has to be special for him. Congratulations!

I'm really happy for him. Even though he got the same basic award like 5 times for this year (weird that so many different groups select a national coach of the year)... the Dodd is the one that's most meaningful for him. That's the one his dad won and HCMM carries the commemorative coin from that in his pocket. This is a big deal and has a deeper meaning.
I'd also like to stress again that CoY is definitely a team/organizational award. More so than any other award given out. MacIntyre captained the ship and his name is on the trophy, but every player, coach, administrator and staffer involved with the football program should take pride in this.
