sounds like he has a plan...

proof is in the w/l column however.

Yeah, Embo and Hawk had nice pressers as well. Always good to hear it - but he has got to produce!

I think it starts with being competative. No more blowouts by halftime. I'm alright if he does this along with a few more wins next year. It's got to be baby steps. If we think he is going to win 10 games in his third year we will all be disappointed.

If he does it great but I want to be sitting in Folsom with the team in every game down to the wire. That would be a HUGE improvement.

I'll bet Bohn is going to be the most nervous person in all of Buff Nation for the next few years

He did. Seems like a good guy, lot of experience. Not everyone is Hawk 2.0, I think that comparison is blown out of proportion and cliched at this point. Hawk traumatized CU, so I get the association, but Hawk didn't have experience outside of Boise. Mac has coached under Parcells, in the SEC, ACC.

I like the emphasis on Cali and Colorado. Practical and smart. Texas doesn't make as much sense as those two. Needed someone to come in and have a clear plan, he definitely has that. Great job. Fired up.

I very much liked his first impression. Sounds like a great recruiter! Can't wait to see him get to work.

I think next year will still be brutal, 3-4 wins with some blowout losses and a couple close calls against some good teams.

The next year we should be coming close to a bowl game with just about every game competetive. 5-6 wins

3rd year there should be no excuse not to go to a bowl. 6-8 wins

4th year should be a year we should be a serious contender in the division 8-10 wins

Good presser. HCMM had is stuff together and now we will see if he can translate it into a recruiting bump

I didn't watch, a friend tweeted Bohn said "Allow me to introduce our second choice." I have a very hard time believing that. Can someone confirm if this was said or not.

Huge win for the Buffs. MacIntyre is the perfect guy to deal with the problems in Boulder. Much better than fButch "coat tails" Jones. This guy can recruit with the best, and he knows the difference between a ballin' playboy and a football player. My predictions here are always right. Better days ahead.

Just listening to the Mile High Sports interview with Mike Mac... Worst interviewers ever... "Sorry coach, I was reading a text while you were speaking... Umm... Yeah, next question..." WTF

I'm really impressed by Coach Mac, and I'm relieved that Bohn decided to start evaluating plans to turn the program around. Coach Mac has the same personality as Boyle (ENFP), and you can tell that he is smart, strategic, and forward-looking. He also has the kind of positive energy and broad perspective that is desperately needed in Dal Ward.

It will be really interesting to see how the assistant coach positions shake out and whether he keeps assistants around to recruit texas.

 It amazes me after Bohn's last two hires that all of a sudden, this is the "great hire". Caution seems best here but cu fans must have short term memory loss.

It is called hope. Try it out sometime. I don't know what kind of success he will have, but I am all in.

It is called reality. Let's see who his staff is and see what transpires instead of annointing him another great hire or home run. The last 7 years favors that logic.

Compare him to the guys he is going against. I have to tell you, I just don't see it. Go down the list of PAC 12 coaches and compare them to MacIntyre. He is totally different than they. Man. I'm afraid he'll get his throat cut.

DBT, the negative nancy. This should be a fun iteration.

You mean the BCS or Pro HC's they hired? Yes, I agree.

Reality and hope aren't mutually exclusive - they can coexist!

am interested myself. do wonder why some don't think speed or quality resides in Texas. since i'm originally from CA I've seen both sides of the fence and understand the logic...but staying in your comfort zone isn't always a good thing.

I caught some of the presser on my way home and was impressed but then again I was also impressed and excited after hearing JE's presser. I have no doubt that he will do better than JE but it'll have to proven to me that he can win at this level. I did like how he said he plans to emphasize recruiting, especially in-state and in Cali.
