The thought of Baylor having a Heisman winner makes me want to puke. Guess I'll be puking tonight then.

Honestly, I still don't understand why its not Luck. The guy is clearly the best QB to come out in years. Try taking Luck away from this year's Stanford team and see how good they are. RGIII at least had some pretty damn good WRs to help him out.

No one else in college football had as big of a significant positive impact on what their team did in every game this year. And after seeing him tear apart a top 10 defense in person last weekend I am very impressed.

Luck had about the same level of impact, imo. But in the end I would have voted for RG3 over Luck. It isn't about the #1 pick in the draft. RG3 was able to make the throws and do stuff with his feet. I would still say Luck projects better to the NFL though.

I know this seems like semantics but, top ten defense? They are up there but Texas is #14 total.
Texas:
Rushing = #14
Passing = #47
Passing Effic. = #14
Scoring = #42

That being said it was still an impressive performance but I agree with SuperD. If you take Luck away from Stanford they weren't going to be too impressive. They would still be good but not amazing. RGIII still has a good shot because he had a similar effect on Baylor.

I want a Luck vs RG3 highlight comparison video. Couldn't find one. Both guys can great footage though.

The Heisman is simple, it's for the "best player in college football". Not the best player on the best team, not the player whose team would be the ****tiest without him, etc. To me, that's clearly Andrew Luck. Unfortunately, baring a minor miracle, we already know how tonight will end up.. It certainly won't be the worst decision they could have made. I just think that anyone from Baylor should be excluded from the Heisman because Baylor is a ****ing annoying little gnat.

Best is always subjective though. The Maxwell award usually goes to the "best" player. The Heisman rarely does.

It takes a lot of campaigning to win a Heisman. One of the reasons why I don't like it that much.

ugh, I'm not even drunk enough yet.

The good news is Baylor can go back to being a 2 win team soon enough

Perhaps wishful thinking, unfortunately. They will see an obvious drop, no doubt, when RG3 leaves, but their recruiting is decent and Briles is good (actually superior in intellect to dumbass Mack).
