Alright guys. Colorado needs our help. Now all of us are die hard buff fans,so Nike is having this contest for all of their schools. They designed a shoe and a shirt that fans can buy, but the catch is that only the TOP-16 make it in! Right now we are at #40 but not to many people no about this. Post it on you facebook or twitter of what ever the heck you use. LEGGO!

Dude we are one of Nikes most important schools. We get the top of the line stuff. We were one of the first University's to sign with Nike.
 
I know Oregon is NIKEU. All i'm saying is nike is alot better then any other brand. We were the 2nd team to get The Pro Combat jerseys. Remeber the Wyoming in 08? same jersey as 09's Procombat. We were the 2nd school to have them. Oregon had them 2 seasons before with the steel dimons on the shoulder pads.

Those jerseys we wore against Wyoming weren't pro combat, those were our jerseys in the 30's.

In the interest of full disclosure ... does Nike pay your salary or in away compensate you?
 
Wow... Ok the material made for Pro Combat jerseys are the material that our throwbacks were. They were the last prototype before 2009.
 
FL Buff. You can't seriously come on this board promoting some corporate sponsored competition and expect us to react warmly. If you're unfamiliar with it, maybe check out the Matt Thompson thread in classics for guidance on these matters.

I appreciate that we're one of Nike's priority (albeit still second fiddle) schools. And I appreciate what they've done for us, aside from ****ing up our uniforms during the 07-10 era, or whenver it was they became so ****ing terrible. But seriously, **** nike and their little competition.
 
**** Nike. The clownification of college football is directly attributable to them. And not in a good way.

I have to say, first I am a pretty big Maryland fan and I like under armour a lot. And wouldnt be too upset about CU being a under armour school. I even like that crazy uniform and helmet that Maryland had in their first game (which most people hated)

But

Nike is a much better fit for CU, and it would be a shame if CU wasnt a Nike School

Nike is and has been very good to CU - not U of O good, but very good none the less.

That being said, fan competitions like this are teh stupid.

Normally I agree. That said, we're trying to build a reputation as a basketball school right now. This can only help. I'll sell a portion of my soul to get the BasketBuffs some national attention.

Agreed.

Rather than being a bunch of miserable ****-suckers why do we take this as a chance to engage in a promotion set forth by our largest corporate athletic sponsor, one that picks up in-numerable costs for all of our teams and pays the school for the privileged of doing so.

Either that or just shut up and move on.
