The USA Today preseason top 25 just came out. The top 5:

5) Grayson HS (Grayson, GA)
4) Allen HS (Allen, TX)
3) Mater Dei HS (Santa Ana, CA)
2) St. John Bosco HS (Bellflower, CA)
1) IMG Academy (Bradenton, FL)

Just gotta say how absolutely absurd it is that Mater Dei is behind Bosco. Not that it’s wrong, just with how stacked Mater Dei is you know Bosco must be incredible. Mater Dei has 9 combined ‘19 and ‘20 recruits in the national top 300 ranking (5 in the top 50!) while Bosco has 6 (2 in the top 50). However, Bosco has 13 additional ‘19 and ‘20 recruits ranked in the California top 100 compared to Mater Dei’s 6.

Not sure exactly what happened in their case, but all it takes is something stupid like an ineligible player playing in those 8 games.
