Is history is any guide, the QB change will result in a breakout game for Cruz. I’m hoping I’m wrong, but I’ve been a Buff fan since 1975, so I’ve seen a lot of heartache. The idea that “subtle changes in the offense will produce dramatic results” seems more in line with “The definition of insanity is doing the same thing and expecting different results”.
That said, KD deserves more time to build his program. If it ends up looking like the last few hires at CU, well, then fire him, and the rest of them while you are at it.

I'd feel better about him getting more time if he were actually doing anything that could be looked at as building.

He isn't. Recruiting is in a free fall, talent is transferring out, coaching and player development is terrible.

Don't know how much will be left by the time he is gone.
