Would still love a 12 or 16 team playoff with top 4 getting a bye and homefield advantage to prevent meaningless games at the end of the season. Just use the BCS rankings and put them in a playoff. An 8 team playoff leaves open the possibility of a few teams being left out... Just look at this year. Stanford and Boise St have just as much an argument as any of the other teams ranked 2 through 10. Well, maybe not boise, but still.
