Holy **** KSU grew some balls!

Must have been scheduled before Snyder took over again. I am sure he is trying to wiggle out of it somehow.

They call this the Princess hangover in Manhattan....Grandpa is scheduling now, look for directional schools, music academies and schools for the deaf and mute to round out the OOC in coming years.

I thought they were trying to get out of this series

Pretty sure these were games that were set up under Prince before Grandpa Snyder got back. They've weaseled their way out of most of the BCS matchups that Prince set up.

They've played UCLA the past two seasons.
Prior to that they played Louisville (home and home) and Auburn (at Auburn, no less).
They played Cal and USC and Iowa.

I'm disappointed in this thread. Based on the title, I expected it to be about them telling Texas to go **** themselves in some form.

i did in fact read an article last year in which Snyder did say he wanted out of that game....and it was scheduled by someone other than him. the whole tone was kinda "yuk, yuk, yuk".

when KSU played USC before, KSU was probably favored in both games. USC was coming off Hackett, and KSU was at their best...legit top 10-15 type program in those years.

Hell...I don't think Florida has played an OOC game outside of the State of Florida in the last 20 years.

That's pretty much the whole SEC in a sentence when you're talking about their OOC schedules. Lol Arkansas doesn't play a single game out of where ever the hell they play in their OOC schedule.

Not true, they play Penn State in Happy Valley this year.

Meh I mean PSU went 7-6 last year but I guess since it's in Happy Valley it makes it a little harder but their other games include Kent State, North Texas, and Georgia Southern. Arkansas' schedule is even more laughable though.

Ron Prince believed in playing a difficult schedule. I remember them playing Auburn and UCLA the past couple of years. Just read an article saying that Synder weisled his way out of a home and home series with Oregon that was suppose to start this year. They also still have the second part of the Miami series, the second part of the Auburn series, the second part of a series with Louisville, and a home and home with VA Tech, all of which where scheduled by Prince. I assume Synder will try and get out of all of these games.

Florida played @ Syracuse back in the early 90s. Now they stay in state and pay teams to come in and take a beating

Bama is usually good for one marquee OOC opponent a year. The Penn State series, Va Tech a couple years ago, and Clemson in 2008. Think they are due back in the Chick Fil-A Kickoff game in 2013 and 2014 as well.

If he's smart he will!

Are they hiding their balls behind Willie's power towel?

The Miami - K-State series came about because Miami's AD at the time the series was scheduled, Kirby Hocutt, was a K-State alum and former player in the early/mid-90's...

Gator fans take a perverse pride in the fact that the last time they went out of state was that Syracuse game in 1990 or 1991...I've never quite understood it...

Bama went to Oklahoma maybe 5 years ago as well. they aren't as bad as some of the SEC schools or Mike Leach or Bill Snyder.
I dont remember Bama going to OU. I remember Miami going up there. You sure about that? Not saying ur wrong just dont remember that.
