How can we keep these coaches?

I think we'd all agree that they walked into a mess, but this is just unprecedented levels of awful. We finished the game today with 76 yards total. Stanford's anemic road offense put up 48 points. We have regressed in every phase of the game since the season began. We lost to a D2 team. The only other P12 team we can "compete" with is Washington State. So.. how in the hell can anyone defend this? How does Mac watch this and think things are improving?
 
I have posted this, but will do it again.....an all new epic low for CU football. But how bad does it really have to get before the AD or someone makes the changes?? Or do the people that can make the changes really don't care anymore??
 
I understand that people are emotional after a loss, but try to keep in mind that the football team recently set a GPA record and everyone was eligible for this season.
 
I'll bet Nik can't go an entire week (election, blow-out shutout) by submitting only sarcastic posts.

Where would I even find the sarcasm with so much about the future to look forward to?
 
I'm glad they are doing well in class. I think Embree has brought in kids he has disciplined into being good students. Unfortunately he hasn't disciplined them into good football players. I could make a snide remark about how they haven't been studying the playbook enough but I will leave it at this. They are not prepared come game day. I understand being over matched physically or athletically but I truly believe that both the coaches and players have very little understanding of how the game of Div 1 football is to be played. I also think that the trial by fire with all these Freshman is going to actually hurt their development since their ego's have to be getting warn out by now.

Yuri and Crawley should be potential NFL prospects in a few years and instead they look like DB's who are practicing tackling after 12 yard slant completions.
 
The admins. could keep these guys becaus they are either clueless idiots or really are happy being the whipping boy of the conference. The Bobble Head Yes man we have for an AD is powerless. What a joke. MB must not have any pride, I guess he just likes his paycheck and doesn't mind that his flagship athletic team is a joke...and him right along with it.
 
They kept D2 for 2010 and that worked out so well. They allowed D2 to run an end around around Bohn to keep his job.

They won't have an issue keeping Embo and Co around another year, I'm afraid, regardless if Bohn wanted to fire JE.
 
According to Munsterteiger, Hawk's last class was ranked 66th. His argument is that Embree was dealt a bad hand. I don't know. I'm really depressed. They will be doing some more recruiting talk on KOA.

Super, our current class is ranked #62. Our 2011 class was ranked #74. Embree took a bad situation and has made it immeasurably worse.

I have a new level of respect for Dan Hawkins. Considering he went 6-7 in year two with those last 2 Barnett classes as his upper classes (ranked #74 & 43), I'm going to start the campaign to get Hawkins into the CU athletics hall of fame. How did he do that with a diminutive freshman QB when Embree is 1-8? Amazing job by Hawkins when he was here.

I did not think, ever that "miss" and "Hawkins" would be in the same sentence coming from a CU football fan........ but that is how bad it has gotten....

What were Sac State's recruiting classes ranked?
 
This university is pathologically addicted to bad decisions. Embree will be here for '13, and the country will laugh.
 
we have the worst coach in the country and we have the worst QB in the country. Bohn needs to grow some and fire Embree tomorrow!
 
How can we keep them? Has to be with a raise, so they don't go running to better job offers with bigger paychecks. Am I right?

They care...it's on their priority list...they'll get to it right after they change the TP in Libby Hall.

Embree's failure has no affect on Hawkins being a complete fraud.
