From the actual BCS website:

Each conference whose team qualifies automatically for the BCS receives approximately $22 million in net revenue. A second team qualifying brings an additional $6 million to its conference.

So the Pac-12 will bank approx. $28 million for having two teams in the BCS this year.

Not sure how the Pac-12 actually divides up BCS Bowl money, but most likely it is revenues less expenses divided amongst the conference members (Utah only gets 75% of a share this season) with the conference office also getting a share to pay for operating expenses.

Travel expenses to the Rose Bowl (Stanford) and Fiesta Bowl (Oregon) should be around $1.5 to $2mm total.

Anyway, to keep it simple, CU will take home approximately $2 million from the two BCS bowls.

I don't think you are correct.

I probably should have been clearer. With 2 teams instead of 1 on the BCS, Colorado stands to make approx $500,000 MORE than with just the guaranteed Rose Bowl berth.
