SUBJECT: EXPECT SLIGHT DELAYS ON REGENT DRIVE DUE TO INSTALLATION OF SIGNAL AT ENGINEERING CROSSWALK
The University of Colorado Boulder is installing a high-intensity activated crosswalk - or "HAWK" system - at the crosswalk that connects the Engineering Center with Regent Autopark. The work began on Monday, March 21 and is projected to end Tuesday, April 6.
The majority of intensive road work was completed over Spring Break; however, partial lane closures are still necessary, and may cause some delays on Regent Drive. Please use alternative routes if possible.

SUBJECT: Use of the "High-Intensity Activated COACH" or HAWK on your football team
Cu will soon hire the "high-intensity activated COACH" - or HAWK system - to take over the football program.
A summary of how the HAWK signal operates is provided below.
1. When activated, the football program will be enshrouded in darkness. Physical play is not permitted.
Walkons are asked to join the team and are given ample playing time.
2. When an oppostion "punches the team in the face," the HAWK signal activates and begins turning yellow to indicate to fans that something bad is about to happen.
3. The HAWK signal then goes to a solid yellow like urine, advising fans to prepare to lose.
4. The HAWK signal's face then turns solid red, requiring fans to freeze in fear of what may happen next.
Opposition may score freely at these times.
5. After a period of time (approximately 5 years), the HAWK signal goes to meltdown. 28 point 4th quarter leads, once thought safe, may be forfeited.
The HAWK signal will not work in conjunction with Colorado tradition or Regent satisfaction nor will it ensure road success as road wins will be minimized.
Furthermore, the HAWK signal will work in cycles allowing 5* prospects to sign but never succeed, while allowing no* talent to "succeed." CU-Boulder and the City will be monitoring the HAWK signal's effectiveness over the next 5 years. If it proves to cause major depression, an evaluation of options will take place.
For a period of time after the HAWK signal is activated, CU football will become irrelevant and force fans to consider how they ever thought the HAWK signal could ever work. Once adequate education and awareness of the HAWK signal has been performed, a "lame duck" season will commence. Failure to promptly deactivate the HAWK signal may result in further humiliation.
Hey this looks like a good place for the Hawk to go

Too bad we don't play them this season. The have been touched by a Hawk. Would have been an instant win, fact.I love that he is out spreading his talents to our new foes.
