I just realized Cody Hawkins now has a national championship ring...

Congrats Cody! Dude came into a bad situation and tried to make the best of it and played as well as he could.
 
Yep. Nothing but good things to say about Cody. He worked as hard as he could as QB when here, and handled the controversy and heat with his Dad with nothing but class.
 
My flippant little jab about "little things" was meant as a joke. Cody seems like a great young man and he wasn't a bad QB at all. He handled a difficult situation with a lot of class.
 
My son still talks about meeting Cody and Thad Washington at the spring game of 2007. I was present to witness cody's sincere approach to us, while we were eating BBQ over by ralphie's area. Spent 5 minutes with him, thought that was awesome thing for him to do!
