Kizla going negative on another in-state program doesn't make me like the guy any better. In fact, it's more evidence of the same crap that makes it so I can't stand the guy. I want the DP to be generally supportive and positive toward CU, CSU, AFA, DU, UNC and all the smaller universities in the state. That doesn't mean that I don't want them to call the in-state schools out when they do something questionable, but it shouldn't be in the tone that he used. He's not an angry fan, so he shouldn't pretend to act like one. He doesn't have credibility in that role. He's also not an impartial journalist. He's a non-fan of Colorado college sports who actively undermines them and he's using this to slam one of the universities. **** him.
I could have said all that, because I agree. However, I chose the abbreviated version. Less effort.
The only thing surprising about this is that Kizla figured there would be enough people who care to get stirred up. There aren't enough CSU fans so he must be going after those who just hate college football in principle so yes this hurts us to.
Kizla is a lazy sack of **** who can't be bothered to do the work required to find a real story. Instead he makes his living throwing stuff at the wall and seeing if he can get enough people mad to be noticed. He would rather be hated than ignored and would rather be hated than actually work hard enough to get positive attention with real journalism.

Only noticed it because CJ replied to one of them. I followed him today so I could watch this glorious rant, I don't care who you are, if you bad mouth CSU you move up a lot in my book. Ill unfollow him when he says something that pisses me off.

:lol:...I don't follow a damn thing about Kiszla or most any printed news paper (they still print newspapers??) but the tweets you posted made me laugh as it's pretty funny...the responses from this boards vitriol against Kiszla no matter what the guy is talking about is also just as comical
Guess people haven't accepted that journalism is dead and the only way these guys keep their jobs are through crazy opinions that frazzle people up (kinda like those tweets)....i'll just enjoy the comedy myself
It seriously bothers me that so many of our younger fans view CSU as a rival. God, when I was there they were just the "annoying little brother" and now some of you guys are treating them like they're our red letter game.

It has nothing to do with that guy. It has to do with the fact that about half of the kids we went to high school with went to CSU, they're belief that they are better than us and constant blabbering any time they have success IE: Basketball this year, has caused us to hate them.
honestly it was Barnett that did all of this to us. He didn't have the best record versus CSU. I think it was 4-3 and the only reason it looked respectable is because he won 3 straight at the end, and more often than not in very dramatic fashion.
Unfortunately, GB started that mess, Hawk just continued it. I spent 10+ years in disbelief as we fought tooth and nail against the red-headed stepchild of the family.

That AND the fact that over the past 15 years the game has been a dog fight....blame can go lots of ways but none if it should be to the younger fans who have never really got to experience or even see much football greatness from CU

Game became a dog fight when it was moved to Mile High. Move it back to campus, and it will all go away
Actually it has been more of a dogfight in Folsom than in Invesco. See 2004, 2005, 2009(puke). Recently (2011, 2010, 2008) Colorado has pretty much controlled the game, even if the score wasn't a complete blowout.
Kizla has no idea that I even know his name. By inviting him to eat a bag of dicks - on allbuffs - I give him no actual attention.
I'm going to say this, although it should be obvious - you went to Fairview. OF COURSE half your classmates went to CSU. Duh.

Last year I e-mailed kisla with a AllBuffs link to one of many not so flattering threads about him. If he opened it and read any of the threads, I'm sure he knows all of us think he's a dick that eats bags of dicks. I doubt he will come back to the site to read this thread. Good riddance Jizla!
Oh, in no way do I blame the younger fans, and if it came across that way it's my **** up. My problem is that due to our ******ness, we've allowed them to get our attention. Honestly, we should only care about CSU the week of the CSU game and that's it. But unfortunately, our last decade of mediocrity has allowed them to get under our skin. I hate it.
The current group of students at CU are probably going to be THE flagship group of fans for the fanbase for a long time. Look at what they've done for basketball, and I can see them getting football crowds turned around as well if given time and support.
