If you had bet just $200 on the Buffs for the first game vs. CSU...

...at the prevailing Vegas spread, and rolled over the winnings by betting the Buffs during the successive 7 games at the prevailing spread, you would be up about $52k right now. It's math. I did not, sadly, but I believe that some people have made a lot of money off of this team this year.

If you bought 100 shares of Apple IPO it would be worth $630,000 now. Hindsight is a great thing.

have bet $300 per game on the buffs....but did not roll the bet up each week...hopefully vegas doesnt catch up to the buffs!

Opened at 9.5, so any Buffs fan who jumped on that made out just fine.

This is kinda deceptive. CG books in Vegas had -9/-9.5 for 14 minutes. After that, -10/-10.5 was pretty much everywhere for another few hours. No major offshore books had anything in the single digits ever. It would've been almost impossible for a CU fan to get that number, as the 2-3 sharps who hammered the opener made CG issue a key line movement very quickly. All others followed suit and opened the game in the -10 to -11.5 range. I'd be willing to bet that less than 10 tickets at -9/-9.5 for regular juice were sold for this game.

To be fair, the books really handicapped this game well. CU has made some savvy bettors a boat load. This week, the books struck back with a crazy sharp number.

yup the -9.5 was not available even for seconds on offshore accounts....so i took a $300 dump...but just happy buffs won!
