i'll go out on a limb and guess that the next HC is...

The Plati tweet definitely intimates that, but I bet we hire DeRuyter as were are in panic mode. The fact that Plati is even responding to Krapp tells me they're about to hit the big red button and hire anyone.

Why isnt anybody talking about Bill O'brian? He has accomplished more than I thought possible considering the circumstances. You would think he sees that he has an uphill battle to continue success.

He could have gotten out of it due to sanctions but chose not to. He will not be going anywhere.
 
No disrespect to Macintyre and Deruyter but we need a bigger name and actually make a splash so recruits know we are serious about the program
 
Why the hell are we not looking at some of the best coordinators out there? There are some bright, young, hungry coordinators with big time BCS experience that we could get if we cared to even consider a non HC.

My guess is that the search has been opened up quite a bit at this point and will include coordinators.
 
Can we stop with Diaco. He interviewed for BC and they chose Steve Adazio. The guy cratering Temple back to the pre-Golden days was a better choice then Diaco.
He might be a great coach some day, but its too early for him.
 
I for one hope its McIntyre, he has west coast connections, and he has built SJst form the utter basement up, we need a HC, not a I think he will make a good HC

I really think Dan Mullen needs to be part of the conversation. 39 years old - Got Miss St into Top 25! and has a lot of SEC cred. If you were thinking about Charlie Strong then I would think we would have to think about Mullen.
 
Cody Hawkins Return of the Hawk coming Fall 2013 to a football stadium near you. On a more serious note DeRuyter would be a good choice, as well top coordinators around the nation.
