Given that this was the very first night of conference play and Zona being ranked #3, you have to wonder if the rest of the the conference would really prefer CU "take one for the team" here to help keep a conference team ranked that high...though you'd have to think we'd be potentially looking at jumping back into the rankings with the win.

Ridiculous that all three teams we've lost to have 1 lost between them.
 
Doubt it. Watch for a mea culpa from the conference. The amount of bad publicity this has already gotten in less than four hours has to infuriate Larry.
 
Agreed. The Pac-12 officials are getting slammed by everyone from ESPN to NBA players. The national perception is that Arizona is an overrated joke who has to be bailed out to win. Can't be good for the conference.
 
I think we should get rewarded for this by getting ranked.

BTW...I think I'll start calling them the Asterisk Wildcats :lol:
