Is the South or North better this year?

we’re better than I thought. Utah is beating Stanford. ASU is better than expected. This conference is hard to figure out. Are Oregon, USC, and Washington for real? It’s an interesting year.

Utah just kicked Stanford's ass, so this question got a bit more relevant.
I was at the game. Utah's D was inpressive but they are beatable. Stanford was legitimately out coached tonight by Wittingham. I've been to 2-3 Stanfird games a year for the last twk years and watched another 3-4 and tonight was the first time I could say that. Stanford also did itself no favors with giving up 4 mean ingfuk turnovers. Utah D seems legit while their offense can be stopped at times. Should be an interesting match up for us.

I think once we beat Washington we’ll know more, but at this point its fairly even. I would give the slight edge to the North’s top trio (Washington, Standford and Oregon) vs the South’s top 3 (CU, U$C and Arizona). While the bottom 3 I would say the South is stronger. I include Utah in the South bottom 3 since they dropped 2 right out of the gate in conference. You could also argue swapping Standford/Oregon with Washington St in the top 3 trio.

Right now until beaten Washington is the class of the conference, but turn around and Oregon State is the worst team in the conference. In the South it as a lot closer in spots 2-5 and UCLA would still beat Oregon State straight up.

As long as Wilkins and Harry don't miss games, I think ASU is better than Arizona.
