It's Gaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaame Day and you know I wanted to talk about this BYU/ Alamo Bowl revenge game, but before I do, I want to talk about something that was posted in a recent game day thread. If anybody hasn't read it-- this was brought to me by another poster on this board. But I think it's worth reading. Let me tell you why I want to talk about this post. It's fiction. And, that post embarrasses me to be involved with athletics, tremendously.
That's why I don't read things posters like 66buff says, because it's garbage. And the anyone who agrees with him is garbage. Attacking an institutional thread like the Game Day thread for doing everything its supposed to???? Hyping people up??? And then you want to blame a thread on a message board for things that don't go right and downgrade it???
Are you kidding me? Where are we at in society today? Come after me! I'm a man! I'm 40! I’m not some 35-year-old message board poster anymore… I’m 40! I'm not-- I'm not a kid. Write something about me kicking the ball on a frozen field, or Devon Kennard being on Campus. Don't write about a thread that does everything right to get people ready for the game!!! This thread, that's at the heart of football season.... Don't blame this thread for misfortune. That ain't true! It's just not true! So get your facts straight.
