There are different kinds of tough jobs in college football. MacIntyre is starting from the bottom up. But his biggest problems are within the football building. There is no outside pressure -- Colorado fans shed contempt a long time ago for the relative comfort of apathy. The minute that Colorado shows any life, the fans may come back.

it is. I got into it on twitter with an oregon fan I think, about the game in Boulder and he brought up football, which every Pac-12 schools seems to want to do, and I basically said, "eh ya we all know we suck, so its no longer an insult"

MM needs to get the fire back in this program quick.

A lot of people outside the CU fanbase are probably still in shock that CU fans have been continuing to support football in addition to selling out the Keg more often under Tad. We can make a case for being one of the top fanbases in the Pac-12.
