Jackson State beat AFA

AFA was pretty decent last year, maybe they graduated most of their good players? Anybody know?

Anyway, seems like Jackson State may be OK. We can't come out slow like we have the first 3 games.
 
Gee if only someone posted about all the players AF lost and how bad they were gonna be this year....

They lost a lot of senior leadership. More specifically, Michael Lyons their talented guard was a major loss for them.

I think it is super early for kenpom projections, but I am hoping for both Jackson State and AFA to finish above 250 in RPI although they can easily be below 300.

I agree, but it's better than what RPI is right now at least. It actually looks like the KenPom mobile app wasn't updated yet, JSU is #313. They don't play good defense and they aren't a good offensive team.
 
Good chance Jackson State is worn out from the quick turnaround. Buffs should cruise. Air Force is horrid right now, a road loss is not an option there.

iirc, AFA lost over 80% of its production from last year's team. They've got some guys who can be dangerous, but that's just not the type of program that can reload. Wyoming and CSU, for example, can bring in JUCOs and transfers when they lose a big group of senior but that's not something the Zoomies can do. They're going to struggle a lot this year.
