Reports are we have a new walk-on kicker, although it did not appear that he kicked at practice Friday.

Best guess
is that our new walk-on placekicker is this guy:

Jacob Frost

Liberty High School (Liberty Patriots)
Bakersfield, CA
Graduating Class: 2010

  • Positions: DB, WR
  • Ht/Wt: 5'11"/170
  • Class: Senior

Primarily played DB and WR.
He does not appear to have kicked field goals or PATs, but was a kickoff specialist:

His longest kickoff was 59 yards for the 09-10 season.

Feb 23 2010--Liberty's Jacob Frost and Stockdale's Oscar Perez go up for a header during the second half of their game at Liberty on Tuesday night in Bakersfield.

The last reference I found was that he played soccer in the spring of 2010 for his high school., so it appears he graduated about a year ago, and he may be a true freshman at CU (now). (He either enrolled in the fall but did not play, or just enrolled in January.) As with many walk-ons, in all positions, we'll wait and see how he does and if he sticks with the team.

Pretty sure its Darragh O'Neil former fairview standout basketball and soccer player. Have heard he has been looking pretty good so far.

I guess he played for a prison team... what did he do to get in there?

Just got a text from Darragh. "on the team. Just need to fill out some paperwork with thje ncaa" so maybe we are both right.
