Hall won't play this year. Depending on the results of his November trial, he may or may not play for CU again.

Here's the important stuff from the news story:

While awaiting trial in an assault case, University of Colorado football player Jeffrey Hall found himself back in jail this week after officials say he missed a drug-testing appointment and failed to comply with the call-in procedure stipulated in his bond conditions.
After a warrant was issued for his arrest, Hall, 20, turned himself in to the Boulder County Jail on Tuesday and was released at about 9 p.m. on $2,500 bond, according to court records.

Hall's bond conditions include no contact with the alleged victim, no use of alcohol or drugs, regular substance abuse monitoring and no weapons.

Yeeesh. He's a one-man Fullmer Cup. I wouldn't put money on him ever playing at CU again.
 
Drug screening is ridiculous if drugs weren't involved in the crime. Since he was drunk, breathalyzing makes sense. Seems a little excessive, intrusive and greedy.

Regardless, the rules are the rules and you have to comply with the stipulations. No way he ever plays here again.
 
I don't think he can beat the charges or cop a plea down to a misdemeanor, so expect scholly available for Spring semester.

Hard to understand...I am becoming pessimistic we will see him play again. That is sad, because he has a lot to offer.
 
Not looking good for his future in Black and Gold. Hope the young man can get his life together.
